Tree Trimming & Tree Care

Tyson’s Tree Service offers a full range of tree trimming, tree care and tree maintenance, from tree pruning to complete tree removal.

Regardless of which service you need, Tyson’s Tree Service, Inc., is as unobtrusive to your environment as possible, leaving surrounding structures, trees, and landscaping untouched as well as providing complete removal and cleanup of all debris.

Tree Trimming / Crown Cleaning

We’ll carefully remove dead, dying, diseased, crowded, or weakly attached branches and water sprouts (sucker growth) from inner two-thirds of the crown to promote superior tree health.

Crown Reduction

Also known as crown shaping, this service reduces the height and/or spread of outer third of the crown to lessen the weight and minimize breakage on weakly crotched or stemmed trees.

Crown Thinning

Through our selective removal of inner branches, we’ll increase light penetration and air movement through the crown to promote tree health and prevent weakly crotched or stemmed trees from being damaged.

Crown Raising

Also known as crown elevation, this service removes the lower branches of a tree to provide clearance for buildings, vehicles, pedestrians, etc.

Crown Restoration

This pruning service improves the structure of trees whose branches have been severely headed, vandalized, or storm damaged.

Utility Pruning

To ensure safe and continuous utility service, we’ll use a combination of the above tree trimming and maintenance services to keep trees from interfering with power and telephone lines.

Cabling and Bracing

Weakened or stressed branches may need temporary or permanent physical support, which can be provided by connecting them to healthy, strong branches or to a nearby structure.

Plant Health Care

Our plant health care services can reduce the onset of root disease in healthy trees and rejuvenate stressed trees. Arborists at Tyson’s Tree Service use Plant Health Care, Inc., (PHC) products to provide the best care for trees. In particular, Tyson’s Tree arborists have used PHC’s MycorTree™. This inoculant contains a proprietary “cocktail” of beneficial mycorrhizal fungi and a PHCTM BioPak that has nitrogen-fixing, phosphorous-solubilizing, growth-promoting bacteria, as well as amino acids, proteins, vitamins, and sugars. While common in natural settings, mycorrhizal fungal populations are low or absent in nursery potting soils, urban environments, and other disturbed man made landscapes. Trees and plants with thriving mycorrhizal root systems are better able to survive and thrive in stressful man-made environments.
